Mossimo V-Neck T-Shirt — Everyday Essential Tee
Our V-neck tee is the foundation piece you reach for every week. We built it from a soft cotton blend that holds its shape through dozens of washes while staying breathable enough for warm days and cool enough to layer under flannel or denim jackets. The classic V-neckline sits just below the collarbone, and the tailored fit skims the body without clinging or bunching at the waist.

We blend premium ringspun cotton with a touch of polyester to deliver the best of both fibers. Cotton gives you breathability and that broken-in softness from the first wear, while the poly strand prevents sagging at the neckline and keeps the shoulders from stretching out over time. The fabric weight sits at 5.3 ounces per square yard — substantial enough to drape cleanly but light enough to layer under a button-up or hoodie without bulk.

Sizing & Fit Guide
Our Mossimo v neck follows a tailored fit profile designed to work for a range of body types without requiring a slim or athletic build. If you typically wear a medium in most brands, order your usual size here. The chest measures 20 inches across when laid flat in a size medium, and the body length from high shoulder to hem is 28 inches.
The armholes are cut to allow natural movement without gaping, and the side seams trace a straight line from armpit to hip rather than tapering aggressively at the waist. We recommend sizing up one increment if you prefer extra room through the chest or plan to layer a long-sleeve henley underneath. Sizing down works well if you want a closer fit for tucking into dress pants.

Care Instructions
Machine wash this tee in cold water with like colors to preserve the fabric’s hand feel and prevent fading. We pre-shrink every garment before it ships, so you won’t see significant size change after the first wash. Tumble dry on low heat or hang dry to extend the life of the cotton fibers — high heat can degrade the poly blend and cause pilling over time.
Avoid bleach and fabric softener, both of which break down the cotton and leave residue that stiffens the fabric. If you need to iron out wrinkles, use a medium setting and press from the inside to protect any screen-printed or embroidered details. With standard care, this tee maintains its shape and color intensity for two to three years of regular rotation.

V-Neck T-Shirt Questions
No, we pre-shrink the fabric before the garment is cut and sewn. You may notice minimal contraction in the first wash — typically less than half an inch in length — but the tee will not continue shrinking in subsequent cycles if you follow the care instructions and avoid high heat in the dryer.
The fabric blend and construction are identical. The only difference is the neckline shape. The V-neck sits about three inches below the collar and creates a more open look, while the crew-neck has a rounded neckline that sits higher on the chest. Both styles use the same tailored fit through the body.
Yes, the tailored fit and straight-cut hem are designed to stay smooth when tucked into pants. The side seams run straight down rather than tapering aggressively, so you won’t get excess fabric gathering at your waist. The hem length is calibrated to provide enough coverage without creating bulk.
The cotton blend offers a different kind of softness. Pure cotton has that classic broken-in feel, but it loses shape quickly and can sag at the neckline. Our 60/40 cotton-poly blend gives you the breathability and hand feel of cotton while the polyester strand maintains structure and prevents stretching. Most customers find the blend softer over time because it doesn’t develop the pilling that pure cotton often shows.
The point of the V sits approximately three inches below your collarbone when worn. It’s cut to show a hint of chest definition without dipping into territory that looks too casual for smart-casual settings. If you wear a chain or pendant necklace, it will sit comfortably within the neckline.
We use colorfast dyes that resist fading when you wash in cold water and avoid chlorine bleach. Darker colors like navy and black may lighten slightly after 30 to 40 washes, but the change is gradual and the tee won’t develop the blotchy, uneven fading you sometimes see in lower-quality garments. Turning the tee inside out before washing helps preserve color intensity.
You can tumble dry on low heat without damaging the fabric. We pre-shrink every garment, so you won’t see significant size change. That said, hang drying or laying flat to dry will extend the life of the cotton fibers and reduce the risk of pilling over time. If you’re in a hurry, low heat in the dryer works fine.
