Our Mossimo chain wallet delivers the essentials in a compact silhouette. Designed for nights out or travel days when you want card slots and a phone pocket without the bulk of a full handbag, this wallet features a detachable chain strap that converts from wristlet to crossbody carry. The front zip compartment holds cards and cash, while the back slip pocket keeps your phone accessible.
The outer shell is a textured vegan leather with a pebbled finish that resists scuffs and light scratches. We chose this material for its durability on high-contact surfaces — the corners and zip edges stay intact after months of daily handling.
Strap options & carry styles
The chain strap detaches at both ends, giving you three carry modes. Wear it crossbody with the full 48-inch length, loop it once to create a shorter shoulder drop, or remove the chain entirely and slip the wallet into a larger tote.
Each chain link measures half an inch, so the strap drapes smoothly without catching on clothing. The lobster clasps click securely into D-rings sewn into the wallet’s side seams, and we’ve reinforced those anchor points with double stitching and a metal backing plate. When you’re not using the chain, store it in the included drawstring pouch to prevent tangling.
Interior layout & storage
The front compartment unzips to reveal three card slots on each side — six total — plus a center bill sleeve that lies flat when empty. Cards slide in and out without binding, and the slot openings are cut slightly wider than standard card height to prevent corner wear.
The back slip pocket is sized for phones up to 6.5 inches tall, including most iPhone and Galaxy models in slim cases. The pocket depth is 4.5 inches, so your phone sits low enough that the top edge doesn’t protrude above the wallet body. We added a magnetic snap at the top of this pocket to keep your phone secure during crossbody wear.
